feel this quilt, padded with the pattern
of a spring garden...

hear that crepe crackle - yellow!

This poem won the International Women's Day postcard competition that Diamond Twig ran in March 1996 for Amnesty International and was published along with other poems for Amnesty.
Since then, Kathleen Kenny has had two collections published: Sex & Death (Diamond Twig,2000) and Keening, (Sand Chapbook #2, 2003). She now earns her living as a creative writing tutor.
